In 2014 our never ending curiosity landed us in a special place with special people, nestled under the beauty of the Andes mountains. We saw the unique opportunity to live one more dream; we tacked and are now speeding into the wind, driven by a desire to create a mini-boutique vineyard ("finca") and design our own signature wines year after year.
We believe every Alviento experience should "give back", so we invite our friends to share in a worthy cause by placing their orders online knowing 50% of net proceeds will be invested into select programs that strive to keep our oceans, lakes and rivers clean.

Vinos Alviento
Making Wine "into the wind" means experimenting new styles, techniques and ideas, creating expressions of wine that are unique, never to be repeated.
Hand harvested, hand sorted, made in small batches, each specific barrel of wine is a singular creation, designed each particular season, reflecting Marguerite's skill, style and predilection (Sommelier & Alviento wine designer). She is supported by a team of renowned Wine Makers at the Vines of Mendoza, lead by Pablo Martorell and Mariana Onofri.
THE VINES
The Ensueño Vineyard
Our dream "Finca" is a two acre vineyard at the foot of the Andes in the Valle de Uco. This micro-terroir's high altitude, polarizing temperatures, rich soils and very unique micro- ecosystem provide a special experience to both the vines and the vintners .
Farming at our Vineyard is driven by the agronomers for Vines of Mendoza.
